Do you want to work as a family therapist with assessed assistance for children and young people and their families? We are now looking for 2 family therapists who want to contribute their knowledge and experience and help develop Open Care in Enskede-Årsta-Vantör.

We strive to offer systemic, knowledge-based, and target group-adapted interventions through a variety of methods and approaches to strengthen protective factors in children and young people's upbringing.

As a family therapist, you will work in the families' homes as well as in our premises in Globen and Gullmarsplan.

You will receive a wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year and access to a gym in the building. We have winter and summer working hours, flexible hours, and the possibility of vacation exchange.

Your role

In the position of family therapist, you will work on assignment and provide interventions to children, young people, and their families. The term interventions is used as an overarching term for counseling, care, support, and other assistance. We have a holistic view in our work, focusing on individuals' needs and circumstances.

The upcoming social services law requires a change in working methods with a focus on knowledge-based and easily accessible support for our children and families. In your work, you will take initiative and enjoy developing and driving change processes.

The employment also involves providing practical support, ensuring family members' rights by assisting with various authority contacts, and involving networks in the treatment work.

The work is independent but places high demands on collaboration within the unit, in the workgroup, and with other employees within the department and in other operations. Some evening work may occur.

Your qualifications and experience

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work
• Solid experience in municipal family therapy based on assistance decisions.
• Further education with a focus on systemic family therapy.
• We prefer candidates with experience in treatment work based on crisis and trauma theory with children and parents where there has been domestic violence and/or violence against the child.

Meritorious

• Programs such as Safer Children, Safety Circle, and MI.
• Knowledge of BBIC and Signs of Safety
• We value experience working in socially and economically challenging areas.
• Experience in child and youth authority operations
